Our Next Meeting

Join us on August 2nd, 2008 for our next great meeting!

This month we'll be taking a new look at the iPhone and the differences in the "3G" model. Apple has opened the door to developers by setting up the App Store and there are a lot of Apps that are free! They also work for the iPod Touch. The ones shown below are only a few of those available.

We'll also be having a drawing for a terrific door prize provided by Mac Pro Video. They have generously provided us with 2 certificates for the tutorial of your choice at their website! Stop by macprovideo.com and see what you'd like to learn more about.

Our Last Meeting

At Our July Meeting:

For our July WorkShop, Dan Robinson demonstrated some of the alternatives to Microsoft Office including those that could import and allow editing of Word documents. Polly Furr and Wendy Walters were the proud winners of the drawings for Microsoft Office 2004 (Including Virtual PC) and a book on tips and tricks for the iPhone. Many thanks go out to the vendors who provide all the prizes for our monthly drawings.

For many years our Ambassador, Ed Gilliam, has worked with vendors who have been most generous in making their products available for review and raffle. We are most appreciative of his efforts. Thanks ED and thanks to those vendors who supply Ed with door prizes!

*NOTE
Have you noticed that when you use "Secure Empty Trash" after you've put one item in the trash, the dialog box says there are more than one item being deleted? That's a bug in Leopard! No solution is available at this time.
