Here's what Charlotte MacWorkshop member Bob Liverman had to say about MacProVideo:

At our August 1st meeting I was the lucky winner of a download tutorial video from MacProVideo.com. As the name suggests the site emphasizes teaching the Mac Pro applications through video training. The tutorials are played in their own player, N.E.D., which you can think of as an iTunes for their own format. The player is available for several platforms, for various Mac OS versions and even Windows.
The products and topic areas included in the MacProVideo.com line include:

• Final Cut Pro
• Logic Pro & Express
• Motion
• DVD Studio Pro
• Mac OS X
• Propellerhead Reason
• Ableton Live
• Microsoft Office
• GarageBand
• Apple iMovie
• Apple iDVD
• Photoshop
• Soundtrack Pro
• Aperture
• Pro Tools
• Apple Color
• Switcher's Guides
• Compressor
• Redmatica Keymap
• Sibelius.

There are usually more than one tutorial per area. Since my artistic achievements are at a more basic level I chose the beginning tutorial of the iLife member, iMovie 08. Prices are reasonable for the instructional and video quality. They range from $19.50 for my iMovie08 to $49.50 for a typical Pro application. Where multiple tutorials are needed to cover a product, bundles are available to reduce the price of each level of the training.

I have not completed the tutorial, but I believe this material may finally help me to retrieve some of my video, heretofore entombed in the original mini-DV cartridges as they were shot. Give MacProVideo.com a look when looking for help learning any unfamiliar application.
